No, we do not. We locally source our fabrics, and the availability of the same materials can vary. Additionally, we intentionally limit the quantity of items in each pattern to ensure exclusivity. This way, you can revel in the uniqueness of your chosen piece.

Our fabric selection process is a dance with the rhythms of Indonesia. Our fabrics are limited edition as the unique unpredictability of Indonesia means we can't always source the same one again! But we celebrate this unpredictability as each fabric is special and unique.

Yes you can we can not always guarantee that we can get the same pattern or compensation of the material

“Sigurdottir" is an Icelandic surname derived from the combination of "Sigur," meaning Victory, and "Dottir," meaning daughter. In Iceland, surnames are based on the names of the child's mother or father. Therefore, "Sigurdottir" translates to "daughter of Sigur." This name was chosen as a tribute to our mothers, aligning with Icelandic naming traditions. Rut's beloved late mother was named Sigurbjorg, and through our company name, we honor both Icelandic heritage and the memories of our mothers who are no longer with us. "Sigurdottir" holds profound significance for us, symbolizing a powerful connection to tradition and a heartfelt remembrance of our mothers.

Absolutely, we not only meet but exceed the average salary in Bali. We take pride in offering meaningful employment opportunities for women, aiming to empower them through our work.

The owners of Sigurdottir are two Icelandic longtime friends Rut and Ransy.  You can read more about us in “Our story” on the website
